The Nottingham Anglo-French Society welcomes members of all ages who share a passion for the French language and Francophone cultures. Our meetings provide an opportunity to practise your French with native speakers and other Francophiles. While our meetings are conducted mainly in French, there’s no obligation to speak French. We also welcome visitors to our events.

Visitors
We welcome visitors at our events. The cost is £8 per visit to attend. Visitors under 16 attend free if accompanied by an adult. If you would like to attend any of our events please complete the visitors application form and send it to us via email
Upcoming Events
Friday evening meetings
The Nottingham Anglo-French Society holds regular meetings on Friday evenings from September to June. These usually take place in St Mary’s Church Hall, Wollaton Hall Drive, Nottingham, NG8 1AF. This is off Derby Road almost opposite Queen’s Medical Centre.
(Most Friday evening talks can also be followed on Zoom)
Fringe events
Sept 2025-July 2026: a supplementary programme of different participatory activities at venues around Nottingham, usually on a Saturday.
