Visite guidée de Lenton

Come and discover ‘hidden’ Lenton on foot – nothing dramatic, but a district that has survived the loss of industry and an influx of students to retain its multi-faceted character.  Jonathan, who has lived in Lenton for the last 42 years, will lead us on a walk of approximately 6km (4 miles), giving a commentary in French on some of the places that he has seen change over the years, and some that have remained the same.

We hope we have good weather!  The walk will go ahead unless exceptionally bad weather is forecast, so you may need to bring umbrellas… or hats and sun-cream!

This is a chance to learn about a lesser-known part of Nottingham, and also to chat (preferably in French!) to others on the walk.

The walk will start and finish at Avocafe on Derby Road, next to the Savoy Cinema.  If you are a member of NAFS, you can claim one free drink there before or after the walk.

The registration fee for this event is £5.
