Welcome to the Nottingham Anglo-French Society's programme of events

Welcome to the Nottingham Anglo-French Society’s vibrant programme of events, running from September to July. We offer a diverse range of activities celebrating the French language and Francophone cultures.

Our main programme offers talks and lectures on history, culture, and current affairs, one film screening, social gatherings, and opportunities to practise your French.

Our Fringe programme, launched in September 2025, continues in 2026-27, with activities including walks, board games, language workshops. Some of the Fringe programme activities are most suitable for the whole family!

New members and visitors are always welcome to join us and experience the « entente cordiale » first hand. Explore our upcoming events below and discover the fascinating world of Anglo-French culture.

We welcome visitors at our events. The cost is £8 to attend in person. Talks are also offered on zoom, the cost is £5 for visitors to attend on zoom. Visitors under 16 attend free if accompanied by an adult. If you would like to attend any of our events please contact us.

Programme September 2026 to July 2027

All events of the 2026-27 programme will take place in St Mary’s Church Hall, Wollaton Hall Drive, Nottingham, NG8 1AF. The soirée d’accueil and the soirée de Noël will be in person and will start at 7.30pm.

Talks will be offered in person and on zoom. They will start at 7:30 p.m. You are most welcome to arrive by 7pm to have a drink and mingle!

The AGM for 2026-27 will be on zoom. The exact date will be set later.
